The Maintenance Supervisor @ The Newbury of Brookline oversees the upkeep of the community facilities and grounds, providing for a safe and secure environment for residents, family members, guests and associates. This supervisor ensures the repair and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and support equipment, and that the safety and health standards for the property are being. Inspires and ensures the delivery of exemplary customer service by all maintenance associates.
Schedule:
Full-Time | 8am to 4:30pm with 1 weekend day
Pay:
$33-$34/hr What will I do every day? Maintain the physical condition of the interior and exterior systems and machinery of the community campus as directed by the Director Complete work to personalize and maintain apartments to delight prospective residents with their new home in support of the community sales process Assist residents with simple requests as needed or find appropriate associate to assist Learn resident preferences for opportunities to provide exemplary customer service, exceed resident expectations and enhance resident satisfaction Model a pride of ownership in community appearance Support open and honest communication with and between all associates What will I need to be successful in this role? High school graduate required, some college preferred Three to five years' experience as a supervisor and/or in a maintenance lead role Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed Special Requirements/Certifications I may need? Technical training or HVAC certification is desirable Should have a high degree of mechanical skill What's in it for me? (Great Question!)
