Property Maintenance Manager Position Summary:

The Property Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and overall functionality of company facilities and equipment. This role ensures that all buildings, refrigeration systems, and operational equipment are properly maintained, repaired, and calibrated to support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. The Property Maintenance Manager will perform hands-on repairs, coordinate preventative maintenance, and handle a wide variety of handyman tasks to keep all locations operating at a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Maintenance Oversee the maintenance and repair of all company buildings and facilities. Ensure locations remain safe, clean, and fully operational. Address structural issues including walls, flooring, ceilings, doors, and fixtures. Perform general repairs such as plumbing fixes, lighting replacements, and minor electrical work. Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized repairs are required. Refrigeration Maintenance & Repairs Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration systems including walk-in coolers, freezers, and refrigerated equipment. Diagnose and repair refrigeration issues to minimize downtime and protect product quality. Monitor refrigeration performance and ensure systems are operating within proper temperature ranges. Maintain refrigeration logs and preventative maintenance schedules. Equipment Maintenance & Calibration Inspect, repair, and maintain kitchen and production equipment to ensure proper functionality. Perform routine calibration of equipment to maintain operational accuracy and safety. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs when possible. Work with vendors and service providers for major equipment repairs or replacements. Preventative Maintenance Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for all facilities and equipment. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Maintain maintenance records and ensure compliance with operational standards. Handyman & General Repairs Perform a variety of general maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, fixture installation, and small construction projects. Install or repair shelving, counters, equipment mounts, and other facility components. Assist with store improvements, remodels, or equipment installations as needed. Operational Support Respond quickly to maintenance requests from managers and staff. Prioritize repairs that impact safety, food safety, or business operations. Support new location openings, renovations, or equipment upgrades. Maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, or a similar role. Experience with commercial refrigeration systems and repairs preferred. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general building systems. Ability to perform hands-on repairs and maintenance tasks. Strong organization and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations or projects. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical repair work. Comfortable working in various environments including kitchens, rooftops, and mechanical areas.

Work Environment:

Work will be performed across multiple company locations. May require flexible hours to address urgent repairs or maintenance needs. Combination of indoor and outdoor work depending on repair requirements.

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
