The ideal candidate is one who takes pride in their work and has a versatile skill set, This leader demonstrates customer service skills by treating residents, coworkers, supervisors, and vendors with respect in addition to experience, common sense and effective deductive reasoning. Also included are monthly renewal bonus, quarterly financial performance bonus and phone and on call rotation stipend. Here is an example of some of the skills that that are needed to be successful: Experience hiring, training, scheduling and managing staff Make units ready and complete service requests Conduct safety meetings Experience creating and executing a preventative maintenance program Experience with creating RFP's, soliciting bids and overseeing capital improvement projects Manage recurring vendor contracts, obtaining bids, contract negotiations and preparation, and overseeing the satisfaction of the terms Valid driver's license Strong preference for candidates with multi-family housing industry experience. Knowledge and experience repairing plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry wall, building exteriors, and appliances. Strong focus on customer/resident satisfaction. Work with Community Manager to create and successfully work within the parameters of a budget Ability to work evenings and weekends during maintenance emergencies. Responds sensitively to concerns/complaints about maintenance services and exhibits a sense of urgency to all tasks. Interested?
