As an Adult Day Habilitation Service Manager at May Institute, you'll play a critical leadership role in delivering high-quality, person-centered services to adults with developmental disabilities. You'll guide teams, oversee daily operations, and ensure individuals receive services that promote independence, dignity, and meaningful community engagement. About the Role The Adult Day Habilitation Service Manager oversees the daily operations and service delivery of an adult day program, ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for individuals served. Reporting to program leadership, this role partners closely with clinical, operations, and direct care teams to support staff performance, regulatory compliance, and excellent outcomes for individuals and families.
What You'll Do Lead & Supervise:
Coach, support, and supervise direct care and program staff to deliver consistent, high-quality services.
Oversee Operations:
Manage daily program operations, including staffing coverage, scheduling, documentation, and environmental safety.
Support Person-Centered Services:
Oversee implementation and monitoring of Individual Service Plans (ISPs) that support skill development and independence.
Provide Clinical & Program Support:
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and provide hands-on support as needed to ensure continuity of care.
Ensure Compliance:
Maintain compliance with state regulations, funder requirements, and May Institute policies. Promote a
Positive Culture:
Foster a respectful, collaborative, and accountable team environment aligned with May Institute's mission and values.
What You'll Bring Required:
Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities in a human services or day program setting. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Commitment to person-centered, mission-driven care
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience Prior supervisory or team leadership experience Experience supporting Individual Service Plans (ISPs) or similar service planning
