Duties Manage daily service department operations, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and resource allocation to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction Lead, motivate, and develop a team of service technicians and advisors to achieve performance goals and uphold high standards of quality and professionalism Oversee diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and industry standards while maintaining compliance with manufacturer guidelines Handle customer inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and ensure an outstanding overall customer experience Oversee estimating and service writing processes to accurately document repairs and communicate effectively with customers Stay current with repair trends and technical advancements to provide expert guidance to your team Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in service management Extensive knowledge of diagnostics, repair techniques, and mechanical systems including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, alignments, suspensions, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving operational goals Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on mechanic experience or service technician background Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Service Manager where your expertise will drive success!
