Job Title:
Maintenance Supervisor Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians and team leaders. You will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues, ensuring efficient operations, and supporting production through effective maintenance practices. Responsibilities Coach, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians and team leaders. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime. Support production by ensuring equipment uptime and efficient operations. Implement and sustain lean manufacturing and TPS practices. Manage maintenance schedules, staffing, and daily priorities. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives and KPI performance. Essential Skills 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. 1-2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience. Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with automated manufacturing equipment, robotics, and PLC-controlled systems. Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance systems. Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, schematic interpretation, and repair. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role operates within high-volume automotive production lines, utilizing robotics and PLC-controlled systems. The position is based on a 3rd Shift, with specific hours to be discussed during the interview. Expect a collaborative environment focused on safety and operational excellence. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Athens, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00/yr. $65,000.00 - $80,000.00
