Your work will minimize downtime, strengthen safety and quality standards, and keep terminal traffic and operations moving. A day in the life Begin by reviewing overnight work orders in the CMMS, confirming corrective and preventative tasks across structural, electrical, fire suppression, railroads, and perimeter fencing systems. Walk the site to verify equipment health, troubleshoot issues alongside technicians, and assist in diagnosing malfunctions on mechanical and electrical systems. Direct employees and contractors with the Manager, aligning priorities to production schedules and terminal operational needs. Coordinate multiple vendors and contractors for repairs, enhancements, and improvement projects; communicate status updates clearly and on time. Balance short-term fixes with long-term reliability actions, recommending ways to improve production methods, equipment performance, and cost control.
