Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department with enthusiasm and expertise. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure top-quality vehicle repairs, and deliver outstanding customer service. Your leadership will drive team performance, maximize profitability through upselling and efficient service processes, and uphold the highest standards of automotive repair and diagnostics. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and customer interactions Lead a team of service technicians, mechanics, and support staff to achieve operational excellence Oversee automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brakes, and collision repair Implement effective upselling strategies to enhance revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction Maintain detailed service writing and auto estimating to accurately document work orders and repair costs Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper vehicle handling procedures Foster a positive environment focused on teamwork, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer care Qualifications Proven experience in auto service management or dealership service operations Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience preferred Expertise in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and technical troubleshooting Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Demonstrated ability in auto estimating and service writing software tools Knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, collision repair, alignment, suspension, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, brake systems, air brakes Experience in upselling vehicle services confidently while maintaining integrity Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage dealership sales processes Join us as an Automotive Service Manager to lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering top-tier automotive care. Pay:
$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
