As a Lead Maintenance Mechanic at JLL, you'll play a critical role in supporting our engineering operations by assisting the Operations Manager/Chief Engineer in directing comprehensive engineering services and maintenance operations across assigned buildings. This position combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring optimal building performance while supporting field operations, tracking performance metrics, and implementing strategic material acquisition strategies. You'll serve as a key technical resource for your team while contributing directly to JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional facility management services that enhance our clients' operational success.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Provide guidance and technical support to the Engineering Services team, serving as the subject matter expert in general maintenance repairs and servicesManage work orders and maintain critical building information systems, coordinating with Operations Manager/Chief Engineer on priorities, completion dates, and estimatesPlan and schedule engineering work according to established priorities while coordinating purchasing and inventory control proceduresConduct weekly on-site Quality Assurance inspections of maintained facilities and respond effectively to emergency situationsMaintain staffing schedules, timekeeping, and employment records for engineering teams in connection with planning and executing maintenance workSupport preparation of monthly and quarterly operations reports while making recommendations for systems improvements and capital projectsMaintain liaison with management regarding building criticality, work order status, and operational priorities

Required Qualifications:
