A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

Facility Planner MaineHealth parental leave, company vehicle United States, Maine, Portland 22 Bramhall Street (Show on map) Jul 23, 2026 Description Professional - Nonclinical Req #: 79930 Summary The Facility Planner role performs tactical space planning and execution for highest and best use scenarios, develops planning and feasibility studies, conducts analysis for short- and long-range space utilization and analyses of existing space use, and develops options for facility improvements and renovations. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field or five years of experience in healthcare planning, design, construction, operations and maintenance required.
Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred:
Knowledge and experience with AIA contracts, forms, and procedures. Knowledge and experience with FGI Guidelines for the Design and Construction of Healthcare Facilities, International Building Codes, Life Safety Code, ADA, Joint Commission, Hazardous Material Abatement, electrical, mechanical/plumbing and building maintenance, HVAC systems and energy conservation. Thebase rangeis an estimate and does notreflect the full valueofourtotal compensationpackage. The pay range for this position is $77,147.20to $104,353.60per year. Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE). In addition to base pay, MaineHealth offerscomprehensivebenefits, recognition programs, career growth opportunities, and,where applicable,shiftdifferentials or other incentives.
