Maintenance Supervisor Job Description The Maintenance Supervisor oversees maintenance activities to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient production environment. Responsibilities Oversee maintenance operations for the entire plant to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency. Manage the daily operation and maintenance of processing and melting equipment. Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance activities across a three-shift operation. Prioritize maintenance workloads, including emergency breakdowns, corrective repairs, and planned plant outages. Coordinate maintenance work orders and assignments with off-shift supervisors to ensure timely completion. Monitor equipment downtime and maintenance performance, reporting key metrics to the Plant Manager. Manage maintenance budgets and track expenditures to support cost-effective operations. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, quality, and production standards.
