A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.
Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Facilities Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will support facility planning, design, development, and implementation activities across our medical group locations. You will partner with operational leaders, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure facility projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational standards. This position plays a key role in creating functional, efficient, and welcoming environments that support exceptional patient care.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, contractors, and vendors to support the planning, design, and execution of facility-related projects Coordinate facility projects through all phases, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and relocation activities, ensuring alignment with operational needs, budgets, and timelines Facilitate space planning and occupancy readiness efforts, including layout reviews, finish selections, furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) procurement, and move coordination Monitor project milestones, identify risks, resolve issues, and provide status updates and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating project outcomes and recommending enhancements to facility processes, standards, and workflows
General Requirements:
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
