The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of Facilities Management; including HVAC systems, Pools and Spas, Property Maintenance, Amenities and Grounds Management and Student Housing experience. This role is critical in ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally, thereby contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. Duties:

Manage daily maintenance activities to ensure the facility operates smoothly and efficiently Oversee the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance projects and minimize downtime Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support maintenance activities Develop and implement maintenance management strategies to improve operational reliability Interpret technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the maintenance department

Qualifications:

Proven experience in Facilities Management or Property Maintenance (5 years min); Multifamily residential property maintenance highly preferred Proven experience in a Maintenance Supervisor role (3 years min) Strong knowledge of HVAC systems;

HVAC/EPA

certification required CPO experience and certification required Student Housing maintenance experience Proven experience with Appliance, Plumbing, and Electrical repair Proficient in using CMMS software for effective maintenance tracking and reporting Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in diagnosing issues Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across departments A proactive approach to managing tasks with a focus on continuous improvement If you are passionate about maintaining high standards of operational excellence and possess the required skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Maintenance Supervisor!
