A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

Exempt Position Summary The Architectural Planner for Facilities Maintenance is responsible for the strategic planning, design coordination, and lifecycle management of architectural elements within a facility. This role ensures that all architectural systems — interior and exterior — are maintained to meet operational, safety, aesthetic, and regulatory standards. Key Job Responsibilities• Facility Assessments & Condition Audits Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of building envelopes, finishes, and architectural systems to identify maintenance needs, code compliance issues, and opportunities for improvement. Maintenance Planning & Capital Forecasting Develop short•and long-term architectural maintenance plans, including cost estimates, prioritization of repairs, and integration with capital improvement programs. Design Standards & Specifications Establish and maintain architectural design standards, material specifications, and finish schedules to ensure consistency, durability, and alignment with organizational branding and sustainability goals. Project Scoping & Design Coordination Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to scope architectural maintenance projects, prepare design documentation, and coordinate with consultants and contractors. Regulatory Compliance & Accessibility Ensure all architectural maintenance activities comply with applicable building codes, ADA requirements, fire/life safety regulations, and environmental standards.
