Job Description

Manufacturing Maintenance Manager Reports To:
Management Qualifications:
College Degree preferred, but not required. Must be a Journeyman Tradesman with at least 3 years' experience
General Summary:
Responsible for the supervision of skilled tradesmen, troubleshooting and repairing all machines in Gil-Mar plants.
Principal Duties:
Supervise hourly maintenance employees Supervise and repair machines and production equipment. Enforce Company personnel policy. Log and prioritize Work Orders to facilitate timely repair. CAD Design. Purchase components. Assemble and install production machines and equipment Assemble electrical panels, fluid power circuits. Contact vendors for machine controls, software, and spare parts. Train maintenance apprentices
Knowledge/Experience:
Robotic Programming (Fanuc) PLC Programming (Allen-Bradly, Siemens) Mitsubishi programming for
HMI & CPU
Cognex and Keyence IV software programming Cutting and Welding Laser Applications Proficient with Electrical Schematics and machine blueprints Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical. Experience with Fixed spindle 3 Axis machining of Aluminum and Steel.
Working Conditions:
Industrial plant setting; continuous exposure to noise. Safety protection required. (safety shoes, ear protection and safety glasses.) Must strive for continuous improvement. Overtime required.
