We are seeking a Permanent Maintenance Lead for our 2nd shift in the manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading maintenance efforts, including repair work, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical and pneumatic systems. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Maintenance Lead, you will: 1. Lead the 2nd shift maintenance team, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and effectively. 2. Oversee and perform maintenance and repair work on a variety of systems and equipment, including electrical and pneumatic systems. 3. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems. 4. Conduct electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in a timely and cost-effective manner. 5. Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure that all maintenance activities align with overall company objectives and goals. 6. Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase operational efficiency. 7. Provide training and mentorship to maintenance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. 8. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Maintenance Lead role, you must have: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a leadership capacity. 2. Proven experience with repair work, pneumatics, schematics, and electrical troubleshooting. 3. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying issues and implementing effective solutions. 4. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team. 5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to team members and other stakeholders. 6. A strong understanding of safety and regulatory standards in the maintenance field. 7. A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads. 8. A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a related field or relevant certifications would be an asset.
