Shift Press Maintenance Facilitator Primary Job Function:
Supervise, instruct and motivate the Team to meet or exceed departmental goals and objectives. Know and apply broad knowledge of principles and practices of a field or specialization. May supervise/lead one or more functional areas. Accomplish all work assignments as directed by management. You will be supervising Maintenance Technicians in an Automotive Sheet Metal Stamping Environment.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Administer company policies, procedures and practices in a consistent manner
  • Initiate coaching and problem-solving activities that will maintain a productive relationship with Associates using core values
  • Respond to Associates concerns, complaints, problems, suggestions, etc. and provide information, answers and assistance in a reasonable time period
  • Maintain a productive and satisfied department using leadership and motivational techniques
  • Select, train and develop Associates through the use of Skill Assessment and coordination of training resources
  • Plan and execute daily activities according to departmental production requirements
  • Plan short-term activities to meet departmental goals and objectives
  • Manage efficient utilization of manpower, equipment and materials to promote/improve safety, housekeeping, quality, and reduce scrap
  • Maintain/improve customer service through use/participation of Concern/Resolution processes (8D)
  • Plan and execute company initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
  • 5 - 7 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • General knowledge of personal computers is expected (MS Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint; ERP system)
  • Understand Preventive / Predictive Maintenance philosophies and administration
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatics, Electrical / PLC Trouble shooting, and Robotics is a plus.
  • Be prepared for a "Hands on" type of

  • New hire orientation

Leadership Supervisor Skills Training Health, Safety and Physical Demand Requirements:
  • Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting, climbing, carrying, pulling, griping, grasping, twisting, bending, stooping and reaching throughout the work day
  • Hand and eye coordination
  • Ability to sit stand and walk for extended periods of time (8 hours or more)
  • Ability to use a phone and computer keyboard
