A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at a high-volume production facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for improving equipment reliability, maximizing uptime, developing maintenance personnel, and driving a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a multi-skilled maintenance team while promoting safe work practices. Drive improvements in equipment reliability through preventative, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs. Partner with Operations to increase line efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve overall equipment effectiveness. Mentor maintenance personnel to strengthen technical skills, accountability, ownership, and problem-solving capabilities. Foster a strong safety culture by identifying risks and implementing effective corrective actions and controls. Provide technical guidance on troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance best practices. Utilize CMMS and maintenance management tools to plan work, track performance, and support data-driven decisions. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, cost reduction, asset life extension, and operational performance. Support plant operations through flexible scheduling, including occasional nights, weekends, and holiday coverage as needed. Requirements Experience leading, supervising, mentoring, and developing maintenance or technical teams. Background working within a manufacturing, industrial, production, military, or related operational environment. Working knowledge of CMMS or maintenance management software. Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies. Familiarity with industrial equipment and controls, including PLCs, drives, motors, instrumentation, and automation systems. Proven ability to promote safety, improve maintenance performance, and drive operational reliability. Preferred Qualifications Leadership experience within packaging, corrugated, paper, pulp, or similar manufacturing environments. Experience developing maintenance plans, scheduling work orders, and coordinating maintenance activities with operations teams. Demonstrated success leading maintenance or skilled trades teams in a manufacturing setting. Technical education, certification, or equivalent hands-on industrial maintenance experience. Proven track record of reducing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and implementing maintenance best practices using data and performance metrics.
