Port Huron, MI Leadership position responsible for plant maintenance, equipment reliability, and maintenance team development Background Requirements 5+ years of progressive maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Previous maintenance leadership, management, or supervisory experience. Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Experience supporting injection molding and/or highly automated manufacturing equipment preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial control systems. Experience with PLC-controlled equipment, robotics, automation, and manufacturing support systems. Strong background in preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Experience managing maintenance schedules, work orders, spare parts, and equipment downtime. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Ability to lead, coach, and develop skilled maintenance technicians. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Job Responsibilities Lead the plant maintenance organization and provide day-to-day direction to the maintenance team. Ensure manufacturing equipment, automation, utilities, and facility systems operate safely and reliably. Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment uptime. Drive improvements in equipment reliability, downtime, MTTR, MTBF, and overall maintenance performance . Coordinate troubleshooting and emergency repairs for production equipment. Lead root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions for recurring equipment issues. Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to improve manufacturing performance. Develop maintenance schedules and prioritize work based on production requirements. Manage maintenance work orders, spare parts, tooling, and equipment documentation. Support new equipment installation, commissioning, and manufacturing launches. Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and maintainability. Ensure maintenance activities comply with plant safety procedures and applicable regulatory requirements. Develop and mentor maintenance personnel while building a proactive, accountable maintenance culture. Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives throughout the facility. What is
