Job Description

Shift:
First Shift,Second Shift,Weekend,Mon,Wed,Fri,Sat,Sun The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives is critical to overall success.
Schedule:
We are currently seeking part-time or full-time availability to include both weekdays and weekends. Part-time availability includes 3 shifts per week alternating Friday-Sunday and Saturday-Monday, 12-8pm. Full-time availability includes 5 shifts per week 9 am - 5 pm; includes weekends. Essential Functions Partners with the Director of Engineering to recruit, develop, manage and monitor performance while making any recommendations for disciplinary actions. Proactively ensure proper department coverage aligned with business demands. Ensure compliance with City and State ordinances. Ensure compliance with Brand Standards. Ensure the highest levels of productivity. General maintenance and upkeep responsibilities including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, light carpentry and painting. Responds to open work orders and resolves requests within 24 hours. Assists in scheduling and completing preventive maintenance for buildings and building equipment. Hands-on work of all building repairs, preventative maintenance and general upkeep of the facility with special attention to more involved operations or projects. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Walks property at regular intervals (daily) to ensure that the property is clean and orderly and in good maintenance condition. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Other tasks as assigned including:
plumbing, blueprint, electrical, city codes, environmental initiative and tracking Maintains exterior grounds and interior common areas in quality, presentable condition. Performs year-round grounds maintenance, including snow and ice removal. Completes additional duties as assigned. Meets the changing needs of others in a friendly and positive manner. Gains trust and confidence of internal and external customers. Establishes and maintains effective business relationships. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing. Practices active listening and responds in a professional and timely manner. Team player and interacts with others in a positive, collaborative, and productive manner. Asks for, accepts, and acts on feedback. Produces required volume of work by planning, organizing, and prioritizing work duties. Adheres to Sherman Associates attendance policy, grooming and appearance standards, general work rules, and department procedures. Maintains a clean and safe work environment, follows all procedures for client and employee incidents and is knowledgeable for hotel emergency procedures. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws regarding health and safety services. Attends all required department and company meetings.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related carpentry/construction. Ideally in hospitality or a related industry Special boilers license or willingness to obtain one, if applicable Certified Pool Operator (CPO), if applicable Required Skills & Abilities A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates. WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud Frequent exposure to the outdoors is common, including wind, snow/ice, and rain
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift over 50 lbs, occasionally. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
