Requirements:
Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or a related field desired Minimum of five (5) years of experience in custodial or facilities management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role Evening, weekend, holiday, and event availability Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong leadership, team management, and collaboration skills Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Adaptable to shifting priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced, event-driven environment Strong customer service orientation, maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for guests, artists, tenants, volunteers, and staff, including during public events and performances Intermediate knowledge of commercial cleaning practices, custodial equipment, and safe chemical handling Ability to safely operate custodial equipment (vacuums, floor machines, carpet extractors) and basic hand tools for light maintenance Ability to identify and communicate safety hazards, facility deficiencies, and maintenance concerns Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software Preferred Experience working in a performing arts venue, historic building, museum, arena, hotel, convention center, or similar public venue Experience operating commercial floor-care equipment Experience using computerized maintenance management or work-order systems Physical Requirements Due to the nature of our work, employees may be required to work some non-traditional business hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and reach overhead Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to safely operate hand tools, custodial equipment, and powered cleaning equipment Ability to work in environments with dust, cleaning chemicals, noise, and changing temperatures Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the assigned and essential functions Benefits and Perks This position is eligible to participate in employer-sponsored benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and other ancillary benefits) Parking stipend Vacation and Sick Time and other paid time off plans Retirement benefitsDisclaimer:
