Supervisory Responsibilities:

Direct supervision of Machine Technician and Building and Grounds positions. This includes work direction, discipline, and evaluation of direct subordinates according to company policy and applicable laws.

Purpose:

Responsible for, and to oversee the preventative maintenance and repairing breakdowns of production machines and forklifts. Promote safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the department.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.

Repair breakdowns to production machinesPerform light and major preventative maintenanceWork on all types of CNC machineryTrouble shoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic componentsElectrical/Electronic troubleshooting and repairOversees work direction of direct reports and distributes work orders as neededConducts performance evaluations and discipline as needed for direct reportsEnsures proper training is available and attended by direct reportsMust be able to perform the above duties without direct supervisionPromote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees.

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum of 3 years mechanical and/or automotive experienceSupervisory experience preferred

Must be able to follow written/verbal instructions or proceduresMust have excellent communication and organizational skillsMust qualify for driving company vehicles as per company policyMust be able to travel and/or attend Machine Technician training classes as needed
