Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems, electrical maintenance, and industrial maintenance practices. This role is essential in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely while managing a team of skilled maintenance technicians. Duties Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Oversee HVAC systems maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to regulations. Manage electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage components, troubleshooting issues as they arise. Utilize project management skills to plan and execute maintenance projects effectively. Maintain accurate records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and equipment history. Train and mentor team members on best practices in maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation. Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations. Requirements Proven experience in industrial maintenance with a strong background in HVAC systems. Proficiency in electrical systems, including both low voltage and high voltage applications. Familiarity with using tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret schematics for various mechanical and electrical systems. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective team collaboration. Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred but not mandatory.
