Job Overview
Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scheduling and directing all of the maintenance and machine shop department functions. This includes managing and directing salaried and hourly employees in both departments, maintaining budgets, insuring continuous support of plant operations, equipment, buildings and grounds.#LI-BB2A Day In The Life Direct work activities associated with repair and maintaining equipment.
Maintain preventive maintenance program.
Maintain maintenance & tool room budgets within the allocated amounts.
Assists establishment of a coordinated effort with safety and other departments to resolve safety issues.
Maintains the parts and supplies inventory for the facility and equipment.
Work with supervisors on scheduling of equipment repairs.
What will help you thrive in this role? High School Diploma required. 2+ years experience in maintenance related field, preferably in a leadership role.
Effective written & verbal communication skills.
Computer skills or other related office equipment as required, especially with regard to MS Office software applications.
