We are looking for an organized, motivated, and customer-focused Service Manager to lead our service department. Position Summary The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently, customers receive outstanding service, and technicians have the support they need to succeed. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the service department. Schedule and assign work to service technicians. Ensure repairs are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain clear communication with customers regarding repair status, estimates, and timelines. Review repair orders for accuracy and completeness. Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure parts availability. Monitor technician productivity and department efficiency. Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe service department. Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating service personnel. Ensure warranty claims and manufacturer requirements are followed. Help establish department goals and maintain profitability. Qualifications Previous management or supervisory experience in an RV, automotive, marine, agricultural, or similar service environment preferred. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Computer proficiency and experience with service management software is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Preferred Skills Knowledge of RV systems, maintenance, and repairs is preferred but not required for the right candidate with strong management experience. Experience with scheduling, estimating, and customer relations. Ability to motivate and lead a team while maintaining a positive work environment.
