401(k) Paid time off Bonus based on performance Competitive salary Opportunity for advancement We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our apartment community. This is a working management position. The Maintenance Manager will supervise and lead the maintenance team while also personally diagnosing problems, completing repairs, and working alongside the team. Responsibilities Manage, train, and supervise maintenance staff. Diagnose and troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance, and general maintenance issues . Oversee apartment turns, preventative maintenance, and property upkeep. Prioritize work orders and ensure repairs are completed properly and efficiently. Determine what can be repaired in-house and when outside contractors are necessary. Coordinate vendors and control maintenance costs. Communicate professionally with residents, staff, and management. Participate in emergency/on-call maintenance as required. Qualifications Strong hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting experience. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general repairs . Ability to lead and manage a maintenance team effectively. Strong problem-solving, organization, and people skills. Practical and cost-conscious approach to repairs. Willingness to work alongside the team—not just manage from the sidelines .
