Responsibilities - What you'll do This is a supervisory-level position accountable for directing and overseeing a variety of facility, grounds, specialized trade workers, and contractors in the maintenance, operations, and repair of state facilities, equipment, and grounds. This position implements a planned preventive maintenance and repair program; plans and organizes work; prepares time and material estimates; orders materials; maintains records of materials used; requisitions supplies and materials required for the operation of the maintenance department. Employee supervision includes hire recommendations, training, planning and assigning work, performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline. In addition to those identified in the previous levels: Skill in the operation of maintenance and grounds keeping tools and equipment. Ability to estimate, plan, and organize personnel, materials, and equipment. Ability to train, coach, mentor, and develop skills of staff. Ability to determine cause of maintenance issues and take appropriate action. Qualifications - All you need for success
