What You Will Be Doing:

As the Maintenance Supervisor for Yancey Engineered Solutions, you are responsible for oversight of efficient job completions and scheduled maintenance / calibrations by the team of Maintenance Techs.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:

Delegation of equipment/facility issues to Lead and Techs, specifically equipment and machinery uptime. Includes, being the final check on all jobs as needed. Dedication to ensuring safety of all team members in accordance with procedures and policies. Corrective action and documentation of employee relations issues as needed. Scheduling/communicating equipment/facility maintenance and preventative maintenance. Assisting YES Facility Maintenance Manager in logging all Maintenance, inspections and permits. Troubleshooting and strong mechanical logic. Performing minor mechanical and electrical repairs as needed. Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Education/Experience:

5+ years of leadership / management experience is preferred.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

Electrical, plumbing, equipment operation, mechanical experience, Leadership skills, communication skills, and Safety oriented

Environment:

Most of your time is spent standing/walking Willing to work in extreme weather conditions and around loud noises

Physical:

Requires appropriate Personal Protection Equipment to be worn. Requires good hand-eye coordination; arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp; and visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information. Must be able to work on a high lift, up to 30 feet, as well as in confined, dirty spaces. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.

Travel:

Does not typically require travel.

Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should have previous experience performing maintenance on production and facilities equipment as well as on the facility itself. You should have basic computer skills, be safety conscious, and be willing to take initiative. The ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects is essential to this position as well.
