Maintenance Supervisor Arbor Walk Apartments | Hattiesburg, MS Full-Time | Multifamily Maintenance | Newly Renovated Community Arbor Walk Apartments is hiring an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at our newly renovated, fully occupied apartment community in Hattiesburg, MS. We are looking for a hands-on maintenance leader with strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills, multifamily experience, and the ability to lead a maintenance team while providing excellent service to residents. 120 hours for 0-4 years of service; 160 hours for 5+ years Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance 401(k) with company match Career advancement opportunities Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily maintenance operations for the apartment community Supervise, train, and support maintenance team members Complete and manage resident service requests and work orders Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and other building systems Perform and oversee apartment make-readies and preventive maintenance Coordinate vendors, contractors, and maintenance projects Respond to emergency maintenance issues and participate in an on-call rotation Maintain maintenance inventory and assist with budget control Inspect the community, buildings, grounds, and amenities to ensure they remain clean, safe, and well maintained Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, Fair Housing, and company safety standards Provide professional, responsive customer service to residents Maintenance Supervisor Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience required Strong HVAC diagnostic and repair experience required EPA Type II or Universal Certification required Previous maintenance supervisory or leadership experience preferred Experience with electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, and general apartment maintenance Pool maintenance experience preferred; CPO certification is a plus Ability to participate in an after-hours on-call rotation Reliable transportation and basic maintenance tools required Strong communication, organization, troubleshooting, and leadership skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walk the property regularly Key Skills Multifamily Maintenance | Apartment Maintenance | Maintenance Supervisor | HVAC Repair | HVAC Troubleshooting | Preventive Maintenance | Work Orders | Make-Readies | Building Maintenance | EPA Certification | Electrical Repair | Plumbing Repair | Appliance Repair | Vendor Management | Team Leadership | Property Management If you're an experienced multifamily maintenance professional ready to take the next step in your career, apply today to join the Arbor Walk team.
