MV Transportation, Inc., a leader in providing diverse public transportation solutions across North America, is seeking a dedicated Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and enhance the operational readiness of our fleet. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our transportation services, including paratransit, shuttles, and bus routes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance staff and coordinating the repair and preventive maintenance of our vehicles to minimize downtime and extend the lifecycle of the fleet. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the vehicle maintenance department and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Schedule and supervise all repair and maintenance activities to ensure high standards of safety and operational efficiency. Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and facilities to assess the need for repairs or replacements. Manage parts inventory and procurement processes to ensure availability of necessary materials without overstocking. Lead, train, and develop maintenance personnel to ensure a competent and effective workforce. Maintain detailed records of maintenance operations and generate performance reports for upper management. Collaborate with other departmental heads to optimize maintenance schedules and minimize service disruptions. Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and safety standards.
