About the Role We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations of our multi-family apartment communities. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with extensive HVAC experience who can manage a team, oversee preventative maintenance, and ensure our properties are maintained to the highest standards. Qualifications- 10+ years of maintenance experience in multi-family, commercial, or residential properties.
- 5+ years of supervisory or maintenance leadership experience.
- HVAC Certification required.
- EPA Certification required.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred or ability to obtain.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
- Experience managing maintenance technicians and outside vendors.
- Experience with Yardi, RealPage, or similar maintenance software is preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Must be available for an on-call rotation. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Operations
- Oversee routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance.
- Perform and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
- Prioritize work orders and schedule maintenance activities.
- Coordinate specialized repairs with outside vendors.
- Maintain maintenance inventory and equipment. Leadership
- Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance technicians.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching.
- Ensure certifications remain current.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and safety. Resident Service
- Ensure maintenance requests are completed promptly.
- Communicate with Property Managers, Regional Managers, and residents regarding maintenance needs. Property & Compliance
- Conduct routine property inspections.
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.
- Assist with purchasing, budgeting, procurement, and inventory management. What Makes You Successful
