In a hands-on role where you will take ownership or your own department, drive maintenance and directly impact production quality? On offer is an opportunity to grow your management experience in an established team, while still having an interesting hands-on role with tooling and equipment. This manufacturer is looking for new leadership as they continue to grow. With continued growth year on year and with further plans to expand their teams, they are looking to strengthen their tooling department across their two facilities and bring in a Tooling Manager. In this role you will be responsible for leading a team of 8 in the tooling department across both facilities. You will have ownership of the tooling department for initial designs and working directly with a range of customers through to the repair and maintenance and supporting the production and manufacturing teams. This an exciting opportunity for someone either looking to step into leadership or develop their leadership skills further, by taking on more responsibilities across multiple sites, in a growing manufacturing company that offers further career progression.

The Role:

• Take ownership of all tooling across two facilities.
• Design, repair and maintenance of a range of new and existing tooling
• Lead a team of 8 across both facilities
• Perform hands on maintenance of existing equipment and tools.

• Strong knowledge of injection mold design, repair and maintenance
• Either a looking to step into management or management experience
• Looking to take ownership of a tooling department
• Eager to receive training, progress and looking for a long-term career.
