Landscape Installation and Enhancement Crew Leader

We are looking for a crew leader with experience in running equipment, plant and tree installation, pavers, sod installation, and seeding & strawing. This individual must have a strong eye for detail, be able to follow instructions, and complete work within the allotted time. A valid North Carolina driver's license is required. The Landscape Enhancement Crew Leader is a hands-on position in charge of managing the day-to-day operations of all contracted work to be performed on an assigned jobsite. Areas of supervision include landscape installation, irrigation system installation, management of subcontractors and performing certain planning, administrative and regulatory functions. The site supervisor will read job plans and specifications and install jobs consistent with those specifications and Bland Landscaping Company criteria.

Following:

Supervise and train installation crews on all aspects of installation services including promoting safety. Execute the contracted scope of installation projects. Read and execute job plans per specification for the contracted scope. Install plantings, lawns, irrigation, and hardscapes. Digging, tilling, planting, raking, watering, and clean-up of landscapes Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks. Bagged and Bulk Material handling Schedule and monitor daily work assignments. Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each day. Perform and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings. Submit daily BOSS Mobile Timesheet Administrative Paperwork Truck and Trailer standardization and cleanliness Use of technology for communication Communicate daily with Production Manager on progress and planning. Daily start up and shut down procedures. Job Quality Hours management Safe driving of company-owned vehicles (with or without trailers) Ability to adjust irrigation controllers and basic knowledge of irrigation components. Maintain on-site relations and communications with clients, contractors and subcontractors. Safe operation and maintenance of equipment Participate in snow removal in the winter months. Pay/Benefits Package $50,000-$58,000 Yearly Salary BCBS Health Insurance w/ Vision/Dental Option Paid Time Off annually + 11 Observed Holidays 401K.
