Job Description

Education & Experience
  • Minimum 1 year in a Supervisory Role
  • High School Diploma plus 5 years' experience in Maintenance role; or
  • Associate degree in engineering (or related subject) plus 3 years' experience in Maintenance role; or
  • Bachelor's Degree / Post-Graduate Degree in Engineering (or related subject) plus 1 year experience in Maintenance role [AW1]
  • Experience with industrial machine troubleshooting, both mechanical and electrical.
  • Knowledge of PLC hardware as well as relay logic controls.
Job Summary The Maintenance Lead is to supervise and assist in the installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company's facilities. Duties include, but are not limited to, preventative machine maintenance, repairs to machines and building; both electrical and mechanical, and think critically to improve and/or maximize efficiency, productivity, quality and safety.

  • Friday 6:00am-2:00pm Bi-weekly pay, every other Thursday Job Responsibilities The Maintenance Lead must be able to perform all required Job Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician, in addition to their supervisory responsibilities. Maintenance tasks include, but are not limited to:
  • Diagnosing, repairing/rebuilding/maintaining equipment in a systematic manner and installing new equipment.
  • Low and high voltage electrical troubleshooting, facility wiring as well as machine control panels.
  • Use of mechanical tooling such as pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision electrical and mechanical measuring and testing instruments.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain equipment including but not limited to:
  • Linear fillers, rotary fillers, cappers, case sealers, industrial mixing tanks
  • Conveyors, coders, pumps, etc.
  • Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.
  • Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment according to procedure.
  • General maintenance; to include electrical, steam/plumbing, compressor operations, hydraulics, pneumatics, motor drives (VFD),machining, and measurement.
  • Performs preventative maintenance duties.
  • Document work in logs and PM logs daily or weekly or as necessary
  • Assist with training machine operators to ensure smooth operation of production equipment.
  • Maintain equipment to ensure an uninterrupted flow of production.
  • Repair equipment when failure occurs and return into production in an efficient, effective, and timely manner.
  • Rebuild equipment that is offline for future uses.
  • Set-up equipment for jobs to be run.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and check safety devices on all equipment and repair any problems immediately.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, GMP and safety standards. Supervisory tasks include, but are not limited to:
  • Monitoring and checking work performed by Maintenance Technicians / PM Techs[AW2][SF3]
  • Inventory Management Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or control; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
