This job does not have a main work location as the daily jobs will be all over the state. A company vehicle will be provided and most nights you will be home. Maintenance Technician 1

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend solutions
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Fabricate or repair parts as needed
• Supervise and coordinate contractors for larger repair projects
• Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders

Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in maintenance or related field
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership abilities

Maintenance Lead Duties:

• All the duties and responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician, plus
• Supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance technicians and specialists
• Schedule work assignments and coordinate crew activities across multiple teams
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
• Mentor team members on technical skills and professional development
• Manage performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and recognition programs
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for mechanical and electrical systems

• Coordinate emergency repairs and respond to critical equipment failures

Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Industrial Systems / Industrial Maintenance Associate's degree is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in maintenance or related field
• Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead teams, plan for and manage complex tasks, and work independently
• Skilled in critical thinking, root cause analysis, and recommending system improvements
