You'll leverage your computer and verbal skills to order parts and talk to OEM`s and Vendors. Schedule preventive maintenance to prevent issues before they can occur, and drive continuous improvement across the plant. Assisting other maintenance duties as needed. Word, Excel, & PPT:
Utilizing these core computer skills to schedule, plan, and order parts for the plant equipment centers. Preventive Maintenance Working with the Maintenance Technicians creating Planned Maintenance Documents and working with the Production Manager to schedule the PM`s to be completed.
Critical Parts List:
Create a critical parts list through Excel consisting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic to ensure all critical parts are ordered and on hand.
OEM Contact:
The ability to identify parts needed and contact OEM`s and Vendors to receive quotes for parts and repairs needed in all departments.
Maintenance Shift Report:
Working with the Maintenance Manager & Maintenance Technicians in capturing the updates for the shift report to be emailed out to the organization's Teams. Utilize the CMMS program to Create, Schedule and assign PM's to the Maintenance Technicians` to lines and equipment to carry out PM activities to improve the overall safety, quality, efficiency of the machine centers and lines. Maintain accurate records of work orders, parts used, and asset history; support spare parts management and reliability initiatives. Skills & Qualifications Strong reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills; expert at Root Cause Analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, fishbone) and failure elimination. Proficient with Preventive Maintenance concepts and implementation; experience using a CMMS preferred. Solid background across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to assist in scheduling PM`s and repairs. Ability to read and interpret OEM manuals to research parts needed for equipment. Effective communicator with the ability to interact with others; strong teamwork and customer-service mindset. Computer literate (e.g., CMMS, email, basic Microsoft Office suite).
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate or higher preferred.
Strong Administrative Skills Work Schedule & Location Location:
Lumberton, NC Schedule:
Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 3 pm. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or at heights as required.
