Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Technician Supervisor to lead and manage our maintenance team. In this role, you will oversee the Extrusion/Thermoforming maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems across our facilities. Your leadership will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, safety regulations are strictly followed, and maintenance procedures are executed effectively. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance. Lead a team of technicians by providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to promote a high-performing maintenance department. Oversee troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Manage facilities maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget. Enforce safety regulations in compliance with OSHA standards; conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and safety training sessions for team members. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, inventory levels, and equipment histories using Microsoft Office tools and CMMS software. Collaborate with management to develop budgets, manage resources efficiently, and improve overall facilities management processes. Qualifications Proven experience in supervising industrial maintenance teams with strong leadership skills in managing facilities maintenance operations. Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience. Proficiency in managing maintenance repair procedures using CMMS platforms; familiarity with schematics and engineering troubleshooting techniques is essential. Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations along with experience conducting safety audits and implementing safety protocols. Ability to read technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately. Skilled in project management with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills in English- Spanish is a plis; capable of providing clear instructions to team members and collaborating across departments. Experience working with Microsoft Office including Excel and Teams applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical testing tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters, as well as HVAC systems repair is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety standards and operational efficiency.
