FUTUREWe are an established swimming pool company serving the Raleigh-Durham/RTP area for more than 27 years.

We are looking for an experienced Pool Service Manager to take a leadership role in our maintenance and repair division.

This is not simply a job managing a route of pools. We are looking for someone who understands the pool industry, knows how to diagnose and repair equipment, can lead a team, work with customers, and help us continue to grow our service division.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING
FORThe ideal candidate will have substantial hands-on experience in residential swimming pool maintenance and repair and the ability to manage and grow a service operation.
Required:
Proven experience in swimming pool maintenance and repairStrong knowledge of pumps, filters, heaters, automation, salt systems, chlorinators, and other pool equipmentStrong understanding of pool water chemistry and preventative maintenanceAbility to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and plumbing problemsExperience leading, managing, or supervising service techniciansExcellent customer-service and communication skillsStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to schedule and prioritize service calls efficientlyAbility to prepare and review repair estimatesValid driver's license and good driving recordProfessional appearance and attitudeDependable, honest, and willing to take ownership of responsibilitiesYOUR ROLEAs Service Manager, you will be responsible for helping lead the day-to-day operation and continued growth of our pool maintenance and repair division.

Responsibilities will include:

Managing the daily operations of the service departmentSupervising, training, and supporting service techniciansScheduling and dispatching maintenance and repair callsDiagnosing pool equipment and plumbing problemsOverseeing preventative maintenance and repair workMaintaining high standards for pool care and water chemistryCommunicating directly with homeowners and customersPreparing and reviewing repair estimatesMonitoring job quality and customer satisfactionManaging parts, equipment, and service inventoryHelping recruit and train additional techniciansImproving service department efficiency and profitabilityIdentifying opportunities to grow the maintenance and repair divisionMaking sure customers receive the level of service expected from a company with 27 years of experience
THE PERSON WE'RE LOOKING
FORWe're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and takes ownership of the results.

You should be able to walk onto a pool equipment pad, understand what you're looking at, diagnose a problem, explain the issue to the homeowner, determine the appropriate repair, and make sure the job is completed correctly.

You should also be comfortable leading people, dealing with customers, solving problems, and making decisions.
