In this critical role, you will oversee and direct the evening maintenance teams, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of all plant machinery and infrastructure. Your leadership will be pivotal in upholding safety standards, reducing equipment downtime, and boosting productivity across the facility. Key responsibilities include managing maintenance mechanics and electricians, conducting training on best practices, and implementing robust maintenance schedules in partnership with production teams. You'll be the driving force behind creating efficient maintenance systems, steering equipment troubleshooting, and maintaining detailed records to adhere to industry regulations. Your insights will contribute to the development of performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in processes. An engineering degree with at least two years of experience, preferably in food manufacturing or meat processing, will support your ability to thrive in this dynamic environment. Advanced skills in ammonia refrigeration and strong leadership capabilities will be highly advantageous.
