Job Description

We are hiring a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations for a busy local fleet. This role is responsible for keeping equipment safe, reliable, compliant, and ready for daily operations while leading a team of technicians in a fast-paced shop environment. This is a strong fit for someone with hands-on fleet maintenance leadership experience who knows how to manage repairs, control downtime, support technicians, and keep operations moving. What You'll Do Oversee daily shop operations, maintenance scheduling, and repair priorities Lead, train, and support technicians across preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs Manage fleet uptime by coordinating inspections, services, parts, vendors, and outside repairs Ensure equipment is maintained safely and in compliance with DOT and company standards Track repair orders, maintenance records, PM completion, and equipment status Work closely with operations to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime Monitor parts usage, labor efficiency, warranty opportunities, and repair costs Support troubleshooting on diesel trucks, heavy equipment, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and related components Promote a clean, organized, safety-focused shop environment Help maintain a culture of accountability, teamwork, and consistent performance What We're Looking For Fleet maintenance leadership experience required Strong diesel truck, heavy equipment, or vocational fleet background Experience supervising technicians, scheduling work, and managing shop priorities Knowledge of DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and fleet compliance Ability to diagnose repair needs and communicate clearly with technicians and operations Strong organizational skills and comfort working in maintenance software or repair tracking systems Valid driver's license required CDL or ASE certifications are a plus, but not required What We Offer Competitive salary Full benefits package Long-term career growth opportunity Supportive leadership team Busy shop with steady work and strong operational demand

Up to $115,000.00 per year
