Job Description
MTI Supervisor - Landscape Maintenance Operations Full-Time $70,000 - $85,000 Base + Quarterly Bonus Company Vehicle Lead. Execute. Own the Field. Groundscapes is one of Omaha's leading commercial landscape companies, serving the metro for over 25 years. As our Maintenance, Turf & Irrigation (MTI) division continues to grow, we are adding a dedicated MTI Supervisor to lead daily field operations and drive performance. This is not a clipboard position. This is a hands-on leadership role with real authority and measurable impact on profitability. You will report to the Operations Manager. What You'll Be Responsible For You will lead execution across: Commercial landscape maintenance crews Fertilizer & turf care crews Irrigation service crews Seasonal color installation crews Mowing subcontractors You own daily production. What You'll Do - Operations & Scheduling Build and manage weekly crew schedules Assign routes based on priority and efficiency Adjust for weather and workload Ensure crews are staged and ready each morning You will also play a role in winter snow & ice operations, which may include storm oversight and equipment operation depending on event needs. Crew Leadership Direct supervision of MTI field employees Hiring and termination authority Performance management and accountability Enforce safety and quality standards Production & Efficiency Track allotted vs. actual production hours Reduce non-productive time Improve labor efficiency Manage subcontractor performance Quality Control Conduct field inspections Verify contract scope completion Oversee seasonal color installations Correct issues immediately What We're Looking For 5+ years experience in commercial landscape maintenance 2+ years in a supervisor or crew leadership role Strong scheduling and route management experience Working knowledge of irrigation systems and fertilizer programs Experience managing multiple crews Comfortable holding people accountable Valid driver's license
