Job Description
1st shift Monday through Friday and some weekends may be required
Responsibilities :
Direct preventive maintenance and daily repair of injection molding presses, molds, and auxiliary equipment. Diagnose trouble, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modules, test and make adjustments using problem solving standards. Participate with set-up reduction improvements of specific injection molding presses, molds and auxiliary equipment (conveyors, dryers, thermolators, etc.) through Kaizen improvement activities Working knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot PLCs - Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc. Troubleshoot basic pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic and electronic systems Maintain water system throughout manufacturing facility to support injection molding equipment Maintain spare parts inventory for injection molding equipment, molds, and auxiliary equipment Maintain proper records regarding machine maintenance (process history, etc.) Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in moldingQUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED equivalent 10+ years' experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment Proven capability of troubleshooting pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic and electronic systems Proven competence with performing basic machine shop operations holding standard tolerances through operation of milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, etc. Basic understanding of electrical circuits Ability to read and comprehend basic pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical/electronic schematics. Develop kaizen understanding Personal computer skills: Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word- Must possess good communication skills, written and verbal, and must be able to interact with customers and employees.

- Must be punctual and dependable, able to work with little supervision.
