Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our nursing home. This position is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities Oversee all building maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and general repairs. Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of work orders. Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and outside vendors. Respond promptly to maintenance and repair needs throughout the facility. Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire safety, life safety, and other applicable regulations. Maintain required maintenance, inspection, and safety records. Coordinate facility repairs, renovations, and maintenance projects. Monitor maintenance supplies, equipment, and expenses. Work closely with facility leadership to address maintenance needs and improve the overall environment. Qualifications Previous maintenance or facilities management experience, preferably in a nursing home, healthcare, or similar setting. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance. Experience supervising staff and outside contractors. Knowledge of OSHA, fire safety, and life safety requirements. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to respond to emergencies and prioritize multiple maintenance needs. Pay:
From $80,000.00 per year
