We are seeking a Superintendent to live on-site for an apartment building in East Brunswick, New Jersey. This position is responsible to maintain and service the building facilities and tenant work orders. Superintendent responsibilities include but are not limited to: Service requests from management and tenants such as appliance repairs, simple plumbing/electric repairs, painting, etc. Preventative maintenance. Speedy turnover of vacant apartments with contractors. Preform general maintenance repairs and tasks without endangering self, residents, or staff. Organizational skills to prioritize service requests and general maintenance tasks. Maintain a preventative maintenance program that minimizes emergency repairs, service requests and the utilization of outside contractors. Special projects or additional duties assigned by Supervisor that are essential for property operations. The ability to deal with tenants and other staff members. The ability to diagnose problems and preform repairs in the following areas; Plumbing Electrical Sheetrock General Carpentry Roof Repairs Painting, Plastering and Compounding Sidewalk Concrete Repairs Ice/Snow Removal Specific requirements Must have previous experience in property maintenance On Call for services as necessary including nights and weekends. Must have own tools.

Salary:
