Position Description Reporting to the CEO, the Maintenance & Repair Manager will oversee the entire engineering and building component of each location building project. They will manage a team of engineering officers and collaborating with other teams such as contractors and designer to ensure that the storefront is completed according to the company's vision. The overall objective of the Engineering Manager is to ensure that the projects are completed within a specified timeline and pre-determined budget. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and review comprehensive project plans and specifications that outline the scope and timeline of the build. Plan a budgetary proposal and adapting it as the project progresses to ensure that it finishes within budget. Supervise the work of multiple teams to ensure that work is done correctly and keep stakeholders in the project informed of its progress. Collaborate with the interior designer and Project Manager to ensure that the project is completed according to pre-determined needs and aesthetics. Execute and adapt strategies for completing projects on time. Manage vendor contracts and help ensure that the appropriate building permits are attained. Hire contractors and building teams. Provide clear and concise instructions to engineering officers. Perform work in store as required.
