Position Description Reporting to the CEO, the Maintenance & Repair Manager will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance and repair needs of RFBT store locations while also working hands-on as part of our in-store operations. The successful candidate will be expected to regularly work in-store as a Barista, including preparing drinks, serving customers, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting daily store operations, while also being responsible for maintenance and repair-related duties. The ideal candidate is someone who is technically skilled, hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable balancing both store operations and maintenance responsibilities . Duties and Responsibilities Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair store equipment and facility-related issues. Identify equipment or maintenance concerns and determine appropriate solutions. Perform hands-on maintenance and minor repairs when appropriate. Coordinate with external technicians, contractors, and vendors when specialized repairs or services are required. Support maintenance involving commercial equipment, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, fixtures, and other store systems based on experience and qualifications. Respond to urgent maintenance issues that may impact store operations. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to help reduce equipment failures and operational disruptions. Monitor the condition and functionality of store equipment and identify recurring maintenance concerns. Maintain records of repairs, maintenance history, equipment issues, and completed services. Review repair estimates, service recommendations, and vendor invoices when required. Provide clear instructions and guidance to Engineering Officers and other team members when maintenance support is required. Work closely with Store Managers, Regional Managers, and other departments to address maintenance concerns. Prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency, safety, and impact on store operations. Travel between store locations as required to provide operational and maintenance support. Ensure maintenance and repair work follows applicable safety requirements and company standards. Perform other operational and maintenance-related duties as required. Work hands-on in-store as a Barista and actively participate in daily store operations, including drink preparation, customer service, cleaning, restocking, and other operational duties.

Comfortable switching between store operations, customer service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and other responsibilities based on business needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred. 5+ years of maintenance, repair, engineering, facilities, or related technical experience preferred. Previous experience working with commercial, restaurant, food-service, or retail equipment is an asset. Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of commercial equipment and general electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanical systems is preferred. Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, technical specifications, and diagrams. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond to urgent operational issues. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Must be comfortable regularly working as a Barista as part of the position. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Ability to travel between store locations as needed.

From $90,000.00 per year
