Tri-State Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, with occasional after-hours/emergency availability Skyframe is looking for a hands-on, experienced Building Superintendent / Facilities & Maintenance Manager to take ownership of the maintenance, repairs, and day-to-day condition of our buildings and properties. This is a working position for someone who knows how buildings operate and is comfortable getting their hands dirty. We are looking for someone with solid general construction knowledge who can troubleshoot problems, make repairs when possible, and know when to bring in a licensed professional. You will be responsible for our Skyframe facilities as well as other company-owned properties , so this person will have significant responsibility and independence. What You'll Do Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout our buildings and properties Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, doors, locks, lighting, and general building issues Handle basic electrical and plumbing repairs and installations Perform basic carpentry, painting, patching, caulking, drywall, shelving, and general repairs Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems and coordinate HVAC contractors when necessary Identify building problems before they become expensive repairs Inspect roofs, ceilings, walls, plumbing, electrical systems, doors, windows, and common areas Coordinate and supervise outside contractors and repair companies Obtain estimates and help determine the best way to complete repairs Make sure contractors perform quality work and complete jobs properly Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all properties Handle emergencies such as leaks, electrical problems, heating/cooling failures, and other building issues Keep buildings clean, safe, functional, and well maintained Purchase and maintain necessary tools, supplies, and maintenance materials Maintain an organized record of repairs, maintenance, vendors, and ongoing building issues Assist with renovations, improvements, and construction projects Travel between company properties as needed Work directly with company management and provide updates on building conditions and projects
What We're Looking For Required:
3+ years of experience in building maintenance, construction, facilities, property maintenance, or a similar field Strong general construction knowledge Hands-on knowledge of basic electrical systems Hands-on knowledge of basic plumbing Basic HVAC knowledge Carpentry and general repair skills Ability to troubleshoot problems independently Ability to use common hand and power tools Ability to read basic plans, diagrams, and instructions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently without needing to be told what needs to be done
