Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department with enthusiasm and expertise. Duties Manage the overall operations of the automotive service department, including scheduling, workflow, and quality control Lead, motivate, and develop a team of service technicians and advisors to achieve high performance standards Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and collision repair Utilize estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools to prepare accurate repair estimates and service writing Upsell additional services by identifying customer needs while maintaining transparency and integrity Ensure adherence to dealership policies, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications Maintain excellent client communication throughout the repair process to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty Monitor cash handling procedures and manage service department financials effectively Promote a culture of continuous improvement through training on automotive diagnostics, auto estimating, auto body repair techniques, and new technologies Requirements Proven experience in auto service management or dealership service departments with a strong background in automotive repair Extensive mechanic experience with knowledge of automotive diagnostics across various systems including transmissions, suspension, brakes, oil changes, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, alignments, collision repair, and more Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about repairs and costs Strong sales acumen with experience in recommending additional service needs while maintaining ethical standards Familiarity with dealership operations and automotive repair industry best practices Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience as a service technician or mechanic is highly desirable Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Join The Celebrity Motor Car Company as an Automotive Service Manager where your leadership fuels success!
