Job Description
Honda of Toms River is Hiring a Service Manager! Join our team and lead a fast-paced service department focused on delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence. Qualifications Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Knowledge of warranty procedures, repair orders, and shop operations Outstanding customer service, communication, and negotiation skills Experience developing and managing third-party vendor relationships Goal-oriented with a positive, team-focused attitude Strong written and verbal communication skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Professional appearance and strong work ethic Ability to pass a pre-employment background check Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the Service Department, including: Service Advisors Technicians Service Porters Warranty Processing Customer Service Repair Orders Parts Department Manage service department sales, gross profit, and overall performance Schedule shop production to meet efficiency goals and budgets Track daily and monthly sales, labor sales, and gross profit Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure timely repairs Consult with customers regarding repair recommendations and vehicle needs Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively Create technician schedules and monitor productivity Process invoices and maintain accurate repair order records Support employee training and development Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and repaired Benefits Competitive compensation package Medical Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Discount Program Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
