A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

- _Work Control Planner_

- Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of corrective maintenance work control documents (WCDs) in support of Operations at the WIPP.
Job duties include:
+ Coordinating walkdowns with a team of subject matter experts and safety professionals to define and bound activity scope, identify hazards, and select appropriate controls to incorporate into WCDs. + Initiating actions to procure parts and materials. + Facilitating work planning team meetings. + Addressing priorities as assigned by Work Control Management. + Managing backlog of lower priority items. + Developing proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CHAMPS) to ensure accurate tracking of WCDs and records. + Incorporating craft feedback and Lessons Learned in planning activities. + Other duties as assigned.- Minimum Requirements

- Education and Experience
- + Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of relevant experience, or + Associate's degree with six (6) years of relevant experience, or + High School Diploma or Equivalency with ten (10) years of relevant experience is required.

- Salary Range
- $82,382 to $145,184 per year.
- Exempt grade level(s) 30-32. The specific salary offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors, particularly the candidate's relevant experience and education.
